Tracy (Paricio) Theut has returned to St. Anthony to teach Spanish to 3rd-8th graders. She previously taught Science and Spanish at SAS for 14 years.  Mrs. Theut started her teaching career at Rice High school teaching Physical Science and Biology.  After the birth of her second child, she planned on staying home but when an opening at Columbus High School opened up, she picked up her chalk and went back to work for 7 more years teaching Physical Science, Biology, History and Special Ed.

Mrs. Theut graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Education and teaching certificates for Biology, Physical Science and History.  She is a proud member of the class of 1991, WHOOP! Her Spanish background comes from 3 years of High School Spanish and a lifetime with two immigrants from Spain.  Her mother was born in Barcelona and her father, in the small village of Vialba Alta.  She has traveled to Spain numerous times to visit her family and friends. 

 

Mrs. Theut has been married to Deacon Rusty (SAS grad) for 32 years. They reside in Columbus where they raised 5 children who all attended St. Anthony Catholic School. Jordi (A&M class of ’16) and wife Landry (A&M class of ’18) live in Columbus with fur babies, Willie and Hannah. Clayton (A&M class ’17) lives in Houston and works as a Civil Engineer. Andy live in Columbus with his cousin, Brandon, who has been part of the family since he was 16.Daughter Isabel recently finished her Volleyball career at UH and will graduate with her MBA in May of 2023.  Gabi is a sophomore in college and playing volleyball.
